A Commitment to a Greener Future
Sustainable Packaging: Eyeliner Pencil and Eyebrow Pencil
In a world where over 300 million tons of plastic products are produced annually, only about 9% are recycled. The rest? Over half are either buried or discarded. Despite the rise of waste sorting and recycling initiatives, unintentional pollution remains a pervasive issue, as highlighted in the “China Plastic Market Development Research and Investment Prospect Report.”
While there isn’t a perfect alternative yet, at PALFF, we are dedicated to a science-backed, sustainable approach. Our motto, “Protection And Love For Future,” embodies our commitment to environmental protection. We prioritize eco-friendly, safe, and natural materials, combined with environmentally-friendly containers. Our product development avoids materials that are highly polluting, non-recyclable, and harmful to marine life, ensuring that our products are both effective and environmentally conscious.
In this collection (Eyeliner Pencil and Eyebrow Pencil): we only use Sustainable Packaging, we only use Clean Formula, the products are formulated without the following banned or restricted ingredients (Acrylates, Aluminum Salts, Animal Musks/Fats/Oils, Benzophenones and related compounds, Butoxyethanol, Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), Butylated hydroxytulolene (BHT) under 0.1%, Carbon Black or Black 2, Coal Tar, Ethanolamines, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde Releasing Agents, Hydroquinone, Lead and Lead Acetate, Mercury + Mercury Compounds (Thimerisol), Methoxyethanol, Methyl Cellosolve, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone, Mineral Oil, Nanomaterials (restrictions for specific nanomaterials only), Oxybenzone, Parabens, Petrolatum and Parrafin (USP grade only), Phenoxyethanol under 1%, Phthalates, Plastic Microbeads, Polyacrylamide & Acrylamide, Resorcinol, Retinyl Palmitate, Styrene, Sulfates, Talc (no detection of asbestos) , Toluene, Triclosan and Triclocarban, Undisclosed Synthetic Fragrance (under 1% and formulated without Acetaldehyde, Acetone, Acetonitrile, Benzalkonium chloride, BPA, EDTA, Methylene chloride, PTFE, PFOA), 1, 4, Dioxane (ingredients must comply with impurity thresholds), Octinoxate, PFAS compounds, Nitromusks and Polycyclic Musks, Ethoxylated Ingredients (including PEGS or polyethylene glycol must meet contamination limits for 1’4 Dioxane and ethylene oxide), Cyclic Silicones, EDTA and derivatives (allowed if no technical substitute under 0.2%)). 1.PCR (Post Customer Recycled) Plastics: These are plastics that have been used and recycled, such as shampoo bottles, food containers, air conditioner casings, and washing machine drums. Recycling these plastics turns industrial waste into valuable industrial raw materials. Recycling one ton of such products can reduce 6 tons of oil consumption and 3.2 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by 200 large trees in a day. PALFF Series – Policy Information
Since 2011, European countries have been implementing laws to limit the misuse of single-use plastics and promote biodegradable plastics. In May 2018, the European Union introduced its strictest plastic restriction proposal. According to this proposal, the 10 most common single-use plastic products on European beaches will be banned by 2021. EU countries are obligated to recycle 90% of plastic bottles by 2025. By 2025, plastic products must contain more than 25% PCR materials to be sold. As a result, many major brands are already planning or implementing PCR projects. (Source: European Commission)
